• · Universal Healthcare: Kelly believes healthcare is a basic human right. The US spends more on healthcare than any other nation, including what is spent on prescription drugs. Millions of Americans are either underinsured or uninsured, and cost should never be a barrier to receiving preventative care and medical treatment.

• Social Security Reform: Social Security is facing significant financial challenges. If no reforms are enacted, beneficiaries may only receive about 79% of their scheduled payments in the near future. By raising the Social Security payroll tax cap would significantly reduce the shortfall.

• Campaign Finance Reform: Corporate money has eroded democratic principles by putting the power to influence elections in the hands of the wealthy. The Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission has resulted in unprecedented levels of outside spending on elections, and a majority of Americans are in favor of overruling this decision with a constitutional amendment.

• Tariff Control: Tariffs should be determined by our elected members of Congress, not one individual. Chaotic tariff policies have done harm to businesses, consumers, and farmers. The impact of the tariff wars includes increased prices and inflation for Americans.

Kelly is also an advocate for term limits, bans on Congressional stock trading, growth in agriculture, and environmental protections.
